Sing out loud like Babs, and don't let anybody rain on your parade!

I would like to think that friends would be able to accept each other (particularly at this point in our lives) unconditionally. Whether or not THEY choose to think if this is a good path for you, it's a choice that you're making and working through, and given this is a very constructive path you are pursuing, I don't understand how you cannot NOT (yes, that's an intentional double negative) be supported!!!

You've got my love and support. Always.

Sometimes *I* am the person digging back up all my own regrets and poor choices. Likely the people who do that to us are also doing it to themselves. Not an excuse, but a thought.

How important it is to realize that we if we rely on romantic attachment as our sole source of happiness, we will be doomed to disappointment. Amidst a religious culture that I find sometimes marriage-obsessed, this has been a struggle for me. But I am learning.

Mazel tov! I am a big proponent of the whole listen-to-your-heart, step boldly off the ledge model of living. Trust yourself that this was the right decision.

And now you get more time with your pup!

I will tell you. You will so much better when you don't have to dread the next day. You chose wisely in this endeavor and I am proud that you have decided to make yourself more important that a job. Enjoy it. Feel free and then get to answering what do you want? Maybe it isn't in an office. Good Luck.

I so have to see the funky hair!

And read the John Adams bio. That Paul Giamatti and Laura Linney are John and Abigail Adams is way cool...

Work... The higher you rise, the more stressful it becomes. What irks me about your company is that they do not see fit to compensate you adequately for the amount of stress they are putting you under. Not that a higher salary would alleviate the stress in any way, shape or form. But the standards they are holding you to, should be the same standards they are holding themselves. And you KNOW they're making mistakes, left and right, that you've had to clean up for, in the past...

You're here to map out the sky and to make a hat...

That, however you live,
There's a part of you always standing by,
Mapping out the sky,
Finishing a hat...
Starting on a hat..
Finishing a hat...
Look, I made a hat...
Where there never was a hat
